Coleman: This is it.
Coleman: No getting out of this.
Alexis: I’ve left Stephen alone!
Coleman: You said he was asleep?
Alexis: He’ll be awake now! They’ll hear him!
Alexis: You need to help me!
Coleman: What!?
Alexis: We need to get to him, Richard!
Coleman: Are you not forgetting how useless I am with taking them out!?
Alexis: You can shoot!
Coleman: I panic! It was always Steph that dealt with them!
Alexis: She’s dead! And Stephen will be too if you don’t help!
Coleman: Alexis…
Alexis: You feel bad about Catelyn?
Alexis: Won’t saving her son help make it right!?
Elaine: Henry, you coming back to bed?
Henry: In a moment, hon.
Peter: We should send a team out.
Henry: She told Georgie not to.
Peter: And we’re supposed to listen?
Henry: If she hasn’t been captured or killed, then she’s probably heading back.
Peter: We can’t abandon her.
Henry: I care about Donna, Peter. She irritates me no end, but she’s loyal. A good friend to Shiloh.
Peter: Sounds like you’re agreeing.
Henry: She’s made her choice. If she told Georgie not to send people, we should respect that. Running into the city like headless chickens will get people killed.
Peter: I hope she makes it out.
Henry: Hell, if there’s anyone who can pull a stunt like that and make it out unscathed…
It’s Donna…
Donna: Turn around slowly! Move in a way I don’t like, and your brain explodes.
That’s not a polite way to treat the guy who saved your life.
Donna: Who are you!?
Jesse: Jesse. I unloaded your gun, FYI.
Jesse: Hot dog?
Alexis: Get it together!
Coleman: I’m trying!
Coleman: We can’t win!
Matt: The hell happened!?
Alexis: We can talk later!
Alexis: Richard, for God’s sake! Hurry!
Coleman: Get inside! Get to him!
Alexis: Richard!
Coleman: Go!
Alexis: I’m not just gonna–
Blaine: I’m like a boomerang!
Blaine: ‘Cause you throw me out and I come straight back!
Alexis: I got the analogy!
Blaine: How did this happen!?
Alexis: Someone in Peter’s group led them here!
Blaine: Maybe someone should lead them out?
Coleman: I can’t see anyone volunteering!
Blaine: Boy, you really don’t know me that well, do ya, Doc?
Alexis: Blaine!
Coleman: I’ve got it, Alexis! Go!
Alexis: NO!
(Gun clicks)
Alexis: Dammit!
Coleman: I was convinced I’d hit you!
Alexis: Well, you didn’t. Well done.
Coleman: He’s OK?
Alexis: Thanks to you.
Coleman: What the hell is Blaine doing!?
Yvonne: How did this happen!?
Monty: It was probably the same sons-of-bitches who did this before!
Paul: We may have to make a run for it.
Lawrence: Let’s gather some supplies.
Howie: You can’t be serious!?
Paul: Are you not seeing the same thing as us, Howie!? Wake up!
Blaine: Knock, knock!
Trudy: What’s happening out there!?
Blaine: Long story. But Zahra’s about to get filled in on the situation.
Blaine: Hm. Forgot about that limp of yours. You’re no good.
Trudy: What are you talking about!?
Blaine: Sorry, sister. It’ll have to be you.
Trudy: What!?
Blaine: Upstairs!
Georgie: Can’t sleep?
Georgie: Javier?
Angie: I know it’s nothing compared to what you’re going through…
Georgie: It’s a loss.
Angie: I don’t think he’s coming back.
Georgie: And Calvin sure isn’t.
Angie: Sorry.
Georgie: Don’t be. The four months with him were the happiest of my life.
Georgie: Men, eh? Breaking our hearts like this.
Angie: Bastards.
Donna: How did you get me up here?
Jesse: I’m stronger than I look.
Donna: Why did you save me?
Jesse: You ask a lot of questions.
Donna: I wouldn’t have done the same for you.
Jesse: Even after the hotdog?
Jesse: That’s gratitude.
Donna: If you’re not gonna answer, then I’ll be on my way.
Jesse: You got lucky. I was on my way out of the city when I heard what you did. They must’ve pissed you off good. Though it seems a tad unorthodox.
Donna: If you think so why go through the hassle of saving me?
Jesse: I know those people. Well, I don’t. But after watching them afar for all these months, it feels like I do.
Donna: Why haven’t you tried to get in? City’s overrun. Safer in there. Or was, anyway.
Jesse: They’re not good people.
Donna: You’ve been living rough?
Jesse: Wouldn’t say that. I’m quite fond of my little nest. Said an emotional goodbye to it earlier. Wouldn’t have bothered had I known I’d be back in thirty minutes…
Donna: Why go?
Jesse: It’s like ya said, city’s overrun.
Donna: I’ve seen the hordes heading in.
Jesse: Would it have killed ya to have diverted ‘em away?
Donna: I don’t exactly make a habit of it.
Jesse: Surprised you didn’t get swarmed. Those things are dumber than my cousin Wayne, and he blew his head off with a shotgun, but when there’s a lot of ’em, they’re sure as shit tricky.
Donna: I had a few close calls.
Jesse: Must’ve been determined. They kill someone you care about?
Donna: More than one.
Jesse: Sorry.
Jesse: I best hit the road.
Donna: You wanna come back to my camp?
Jesse: Thanks. But I’m heading south. Check on my folks.
Donna: You haven’t wanted to do that before now?
Jesse: Was more of a chance of the bigoted assholes being alive had I tried a few months ago. I’d say my odds are good now.
Jesse: Bye, little nest! For good this time…
Donna: Jesse?
Jesse: Yes, ma’am?
Donna: Thanks. For saving my life. The hot dog was shit, though.
Jesse: Your bullets are under the firewood.
Donna: Cool.
Jesse: ’til we meet again.
Blaine: If you lead them out and away from here. And I mean away. At least a mile. And you manage to get back here, we’ll let you in. And your previous transgressions shall be forgotten.
Trudy: Are you serious?
Blaine: Does it like I’m joking?
Trudy: I… I don’t think I can…
Blaine: I’m afraid you don’t have a choice.
Blaine: So… this is awkward.
Blaine: Good luck in all your future endeavours.
Blaine: Oh, just go fucking go.
Trudy: Hey! Uh… over here!
Trudy: That’s it! Follow me!
Trudy: C’MON!
Blaine: Godspeed, sister.
Yvonne: Is that Trudy!?
Monty: Why on earth is she–!?
Paul: Blaine.
Coleman: That’s just cruel!
Coleman: You see what he did!?
Alexis: Let’s hope it works.
Coleman: After everything that man has done, you still defend him?
Alexis: I banished him, Richard.
Coleman: For forty-five minutes!?
Coleman: Something Jenson said to me before he died is starting to resonate.
Coleman: He said Blaine will be the end of this place.
Blaine: Nice work, folks. We’re basically done.
Alexis: Blaine…
Blaine: Sorry we haven’t had a chance to talk.
Alexis: About last night.
Blaine: You don’t need to explain. I understand why you did what you did. I went behind your back.
Alexis: And you murdered Jenson.
Blaine: Look, I know I kid around, but you need to know I’m telling the truth when I say I respect you.
Alexis: You have an odd way of showing it.
Blaine: Being leader doesn’t appeal to me. Far too much work and responsibility. I’ve said that all along. But if I ever thought you weren’t capable, or strong enough, I would’ve taken you out.
Alexis: Is that supposed to make me feel better?
Blaine: And I’m man enough to admit when I’ve fucked up. What happened last night is on me.
Alexis: Unquestionably so.
Blaine: So, I’m going to do what I can. ‘Cause in case you haven’t realised, last night won’t be an isolated incident. Once they figure out we’ve survived, they’ll try again.
Blaine: And you know damn well you stand next to no chance of making it through all that without me. You wanna take that risk? I’ll leave you to it.
Blaine: After this whole mess is sorted, you’ll have to make a decision. If you still want me gone, we can call things square and I’ll take my shit and go. I’ll never darken your doorstep again. But if I’m going to stay and protect this place, I need to do it my way. No pussy-footing, no half-assed prisoner attempts. I wipe them out. For you. For this place. For that baby of yours. Agreed?
Carlos: You’re bailing!?
Paul: Just let us through!
Blaine: Alexis?
Alexis: Agreed.
Blaine: What seems to be the problem?
Paul: We’re leaving!
Blaine: Why do you want to go, Paul?
Paul: We’re not explaining ourselves!
Blaine: Nobody goes anywhere.
Paul: You can’t tell me what to do!
Blaine: Paul, it might be prudent for you to drop this now.
Paul: I’m done living in fear of you! Beating me up for taking some sugar for my coffee… forcing Trudy to lead those goons out! You’re sick! This whole place is fucked! Now move!
Carlos: Put the gun down!
Paul: I’ll shoot!
Reginald: Please…
Laurie: Let’s all take a minute here!
Paul: LET US OUT!
Blaine: Such a drama queen.
Coleman: Alexis?
Matt: Are you gonna allow this!?
Mark: Where the hell have you been!?
Donna: Hot air-ballooning.
Mark: Henry’s been worried!
Donna: I’m back now.
Mark: Honestly, Donna, a little consideration wouldn’t hurt!
Donna: Oh, fuck off.
Donna: Didn’t expect you two to gay it up.
Angie: Surely it’s too early for jibes, Donna?
Georgie: Don’t ever pull shit like that again!
Donna: I made it, didn’t I?
Georgie: Did you do it?
Donna: Fuck yeah.
Angie: Do what?
Donna: I drove straight through one of their gates and lured a tonne of the dead right inside.
Georgie: Whoa.
Angie: Are you talking about Victoria!?
Donna: Where else? Gotham?
Angie: Jesus, Donna! There are innocent people in there!
Donna: And some of our people were slaughtered by cowards hiding behind bushes.
Georgie: She’s right, Angie.
Angie: Georgie!?
Georgie: At least those people have a chance of escaping. Or riding it out and waiting for the horde to disperse. Calvin, Aimi, and Dwayne couldn’t dodge those bullets, could they?
Georgie: We need to be prepared. If any of them survive what you did, they’re gonna strike back.
Henry: This is the second time I’ve been awoken because of you, Donna.
Donna: And I’m sure it won’t be the last.
Henry: I’ll get right to the chase: what you did was wrong.
Angie: Glad there’s someone else with sense!
Donna: Are you forgetting you were shot, Angie!? And your son was, Henry!?
Henry: You’re misunderstanding me. I have every intention of making Alexis pay for what she did. But you should’ve cleared it with me first.
Donna: I’d say it was spur of the moment. But I wanted to do it. And I was prepared to die.
Henry: Well, let’s hope you did a thorough job and this doesn’t come back to blow up in our faces.
Blaine: Alexis?
Blaine: I hate to rush you, but you’ve not said anything in minutes.
Alexis: I don’t know about this.
Blaine: You know something big has to be done. There’s no other way I can think of. We can’t take the fight to them. They’re up-high. We’ll be taken out in seconds. So, the alternative is they bring the fight here. And with one gate down already… there’s no guarantee we’d win.
Alexis: Matt would never agree.
Blaine: I won’t give him a choice.
Alexis: You don’t hurt him. Understand?
Blaine: That sounds like permission?
Matt: Get out of my house.
Blaine: You and I need to have a little talk.
Matt: About?
Blaine: I need your help with a project.
Matt: Unless it involves trying a chain around your body and dumping you in the ocean to test your buoyancy or working out your skull’s resilience to blunt trauma, I’m not interested.
Blaine: Another time, perhaps? My project is something I have Alexis’s blessing on.
Blaine: I want you to build me a fat-ass bomb.
Blaine: So I can blow those sons-of-bitches to kingdom come.
Bobby: You OK?
Angie: We should’ve left with Javier.
Bobby: Are you serious!? You were calling him all sorts last night!
Angie: We’re about to go to war, Bobby!
Bobby: Too right!
Angie: We could die!
Bobby: Like Aimi did?
Angie: That’s my point! We’ve already lost people yet we’re willingly going to partake in more violence!? What if Beatrice is left without Peter? Or Henry is forced to watch his last kid die? What if I’m killed and you’re left without me? We’re not thinking through the repercussions! People die in war, Bobby!
Bobby: I know.
Bobby: But I also know we can’t live safely all the while Alexis and Blaine are still out there.
Bobby: Where are you going?
Angie: To find Javier.
Bobby: What!?
Angie: We need him.
Bobby: You’re not fully recovered!
Peter: Everything OK?
Bobby: She’s going after Javier.
Peter: Angie, c’mon.
Angie: You’re not stopping me!
Peter: I’ll go.
Angie: What?
Peter: If he left last night, he couldn’t have gone far.
Bobby: I’ll track.
Angie: Hold on…
Peter: You trust me, right?
Angie: Of course.
Peter: Leave it with me.
Matt: I worked in bomb disposal to save lives!
Blaine: Hey, I’m a military man myself, so I respect that more than anyone. But that was a different life.
Matt: No, Blaine. It wasn’t.
Blaine: I’m afraid I’m going to have to insist on this.
Matt: Well, you can shove your insistence up your ass!
Blaine: I’m afraid I don’t have the time to convince you the nice way.
Blaine: Am I gonna have to take the hard approach?
Matt: You’ve made the mistake before of thinking I’m weak. You thought I would roll over and go along with what you said to Alexis. But I was never going to. You can punch me. Shoot me. Put a knife in my chest like you did with Jenson.
Matt: But nothing you do will ever make me build a bomb for you. Understand? Nothing.
Blaine: At least tell me where it is.
Matt: What?
Blaine: The bomb Eli Loche planted nearby. The one that was supposed to go off the night he died. The one you stopped from detonating.
Matt: It’s gone.
Blaine: I know you disarmed it.
Matt: Destroyed it.
Blaine: Is that so?
Matt: Yes.
Blaine: I hate to alarm ya, Matt, but I think your pants might be on fire.
Luke: Going out again? Want some company?
Jasmin: Not really.
Luke: Bernadette?
Bernadette: Thought you weren’t talking to me?
Luke: When you said you thought Jasmin was compromised…
Luke: What did you mean?
Blaine: Matt, this was unnecessary.
Matt: Fuck you…
Blaine: My patience is beginning to waiver.
Reginald: Blaine?
Blaine: Bit busy being a bastard, Reggie.
Reginald: I found it.
Blaine: You did!?
Reginald: C-4. In a locked cabinet in the armoury. There’s a lot.
Blaine: Functional?
Reginald: I believe so.
Blaine: And you’d be able to ready it for detonation?
Reginald: Well, it’s been some time since my army days but…
Blaine: Is that a yes?
Reginald: Yes.
Blaine: Looks like you’re off the hook.
Matt: Blaine, wait! Please!
Matt: Don’t do this. I’m begging you…
Blaine: So, how would we set it off?
Reginald: Gunshots won’t do it. Nor will applying any sort of force.
Blaine: Then how?
Reginald: A shock-wave. From a detonator.
Blaine: And you can get that set up? And I’ll be able to detonate it from a distance?
Reginald: Yes. To both.
Blaine: Reggie, I could kiss you!
Reginald: (Laughs).
Blaine: Can I?
Reginald: Uh…
Carlos: Did he tell you the news?
Blaine: Yes, my wonderful Hispanic brethren! In fact, he’s going to get to work on it right away!
Reginald: Oh!
Blaine: Now, I have somewhere to be, but I’d like to leave you both a chore?
Laurie: Name it.
Blaine: Gather everyone outside. Hand out weapons. Teach them all how to shoot.
Carlos: Why?
Blaine: ‘Cause it’s about time this place had an army.
Alexis: Where are you going?
Blaine: One more domino I need to put into place.
Bernadette: Surely it was self-explanatory?
Luke: You think she’s working for Alexis? She hates her!
Bernadette: More than she hates me? Think about it, Luke, how did Blaine know where that meeting was going to take place?
Luke: I assumed he followed us.
Bernadette: With his people? Into those bushes without any of you or Noah’s people seeing?
Luke: Why would she do this!? Does she not care about me!? Or Daniel!?
Bernadette: We don’t know what the arrangement was. She might have made a deal to protect you.
Luke: She asked me not to go… to the meeting…
Bernadette: I’ll handle this.
Jasmin: It’s fine.
Jasmin: I’ll wait.
Drew: Jai, you busy?
Jai: Just finished cleaning up.
Drew: Then can I trouble you for a favour?
Georgie: I heard you were staying.
Lorna: Too cold to be out there.
Georgie: That was the only reason?
Lorna: I just wanted to say I’m sorry. About Calvin. He seemed like a good guy.
Georgie: He was. Thanks.
Lorna: I’ll see you around.
Georgie: It’s always easier to run away. This step you’ve taken. Took guts.
Jai: Shiro? Drew said you’ve been standing there for the best part of an hour. Don’t you want to come inside and get warm?
Shiro: I’m fine here.
Jai: You’re not thinking of–?
Shiro: I want my death to mean something.
Jai: What’s that supposed to mean?
Shiro: It means is if I’m gonna die, I don’t want to be a splat on the ground.
Jai: And who says you’re going to die?
Shiro: Everybody dies, Jai.
Jai: Do you think I want to see you being like this? Do you not see what you’re doing to Drew?
Shiro: I’m just standing here.
Jai: I have been more than patient. More than understanding. And Drew’s trying his best.
Shiro: Jai…
Jai: You don’t think there were times when I wanted to jump from a building? Take one too many sedatives?
Jai: Two days after I found nothing but severed remains of my wife and daughter, I was picking myself up from the despair that tried to force me to my knees and I did what I could! I helped Ollie kick in a door to rescue a screaming girl. To rescue Aimi.
Shiro: Maybe you needn’t have bothered?
Jai: You’ve got every right to be upset. To be angry. To grieve. But this? This is petulant… childish… self-centred.
Jai: And you should stop it right now.
Shiro: Why?
Jai: Because it’s beneath the man I’ve watched you become.
Bobby: What is it with women?
Peter: You might wanna elaborate, Bobby.
Bobby: Does it become easier? Trying to understand them?
Peter: (Laughs). They’re not aliens.
Bobby: Could’ve fooled me.
Bobby: Lydia. One minute we’re the best of friends, then it’s like she wants to kill me.
Peter: Did you do something wrong?
Bobby: I dunno. Maybe? Probably…
Peter: She likes you.
Bobby: You think?
Peter: Absolutely.
Bobby: Do you like my sister?
Peter: We should keep going.
Blaine: How about that.
Blaine: The very person I wanted to speak to is right here waiting for me. I was just about to leave a note…
Blaine: I’m starting to think God’s on my side here.
Blaine: I jinxed it.
Laurie: Again, you do not put your fingers anywhere close to the trigger until you are ready to take the shot.
Carlos: So, we’ve taught you how to use these weapons safely. Now, we’re going to practise shooting.
Carlos: The objective of this task is not to focus on your aim. It’s to fire off the weapon without dropping it, or having it recoil and smack you in the face.
Carlos: Raise ‘em with a firm grip. Finger’s off the trigger until you’re ready to shoot.
Carlos: Have at it.
Blaine: Forgive my paranoia, but I’m starting to get the impression you might be mad at me.
Jasmin: I’ve been coming here. Waiting for you to show up.
Blaine: Well, here I am. And what can I do for you today?
Jasmin: No killing. That’s what Alexis said.
Blaine: Wasn’t her call.
Jasmin: Bullshit.
Blaine: It’s true. I went against her orders. I even killed Jenson to make it happen.
Jasmin: You’ve just made what I’m about to do a hell of a lot easier.
Blaine: I’m here to make things right. And I want you to help me.
Jasmin: You’re deluded.
Blaine: Optimistic.
Jasmin: Deluded.
Blaine: Agree to disagree.
Jasmin: How’s Shannon?
Blaine: Beg your pardon?
Jasmin: We know you took her. Is she OK?
Blaine: She’s fine.
Jasmin: Where is she?
Blaine: Somewhere safe.
Jasmin: Take me to her.
Blaine: No.
Jasmin: Give me one good reason why not.
Blaine: Because you’d shoot me and go get her. She’s my insurance.
Jasmin: She’s a little girl… using her like this… what is wrong with you!?
Blaine: Don’t get hysterical. Believe it or not, I have no desire to see any harm come to her. So, why don’t you put down that gun so we can talk?
Jasmin: Why would I trust you!? After last time!?
Blaine: Because I’ve grown to like the kid. And her cries for you have me lying awake at night. Guilt is foreign to me, Jasmin. I don’t like it.
Jasmin: Tell me what you want.
Peter: Charlotte’s been teaching you how to track? Getting any good?
Bobby: I’ve not lost his trail so far.
Peter: Impressive.
Bobby: Stops here.
Peter: Well, it’s definitely him.
Bobby: What do we do?
Peter: Head home. Tell Angie we’ll expand the search tomorrow.
Peter: Sorry I cut you off.
Bobby: I was prying.
Peter: It’s just…
Bobby: Things are complicated? What with Lorna? Javier?
Peter: Lorna said our marriage is over. It was horrible to hear but it made sense after what happened with Milo. We weren’t the same.
Bobby: But now she’s decided to stay?
Peter: I don’t know where she stands.
Bobby: Sure is complicated.
Peter: Add that to the fact that I…
Bobby: What?
Peter: Think I’m falling for your sister.
Blaine: Any updates?
Noreen: Reginald’s looked everything over.
Blaine: And? Don’t keep me in suspense!
Noreen: He says he can get it all to blow.
Blaine: This is like Christmas!
Noreen: How’d it go on your end?
Blaine: Couldn’t have gone better.
Luke: Can we talk?
Jasmin: Not right now.
Bernadette: I said leave this with me.
Jasmin: Oh, you two are chums now?
Luke: It’s not like that.
Luke: We’ll talk to her tomorrow.
Jasmin: Fuck these people!
Angie: Well?
Bobby: I fell for a dummy trail.
Peter: We’ll go out again tomorrow.
Charlotte: Did I hear that right?
Bobby: Sorry to disappoint you.
Charlotte: Give yourself a break. Javier knows what he’s doing.
Peter: Wanna come with us tomorrow?
Charlotte: Sure. If he thinks he can just bail on us, he’s got another thing coming. His chilli is delicious. I’m not giving that shit up.
Angie: Thanks anyway.
Peter: About what I said…
Bobby: My lips are sealed, man.
Charlotte: Where are you going?
Shiloh: To see Georgie.
Charlotte: Should I be worried?
Shiloh: Well, I’ve had Penny, Angie, and Rachel. Only makes sense to move on to Georgie.
Charlotte: Funny.
Shiloh: I heard Georgie hasn’t been sleeping.
Charlotte: Oh.
Shiloh: Figured if she wants some company, she can have Ben for a while.
Shiloh: Ben wants to stay with you tonight.
Georgie: Said that, did he?
Charlotte: Was very insistent.
Georgie: I suppose that would be OK.
Georgie: Thanks.
Georgie: Hi, boy.
Elaine: Henry?
Elaine: What is it?
Henry: I’m scared, Elaine.
Elaine: Of what?
Henry: This fight with Alexis and Blaine.
Henry: I think we might lose.
You know, Lorna, in some ways, you’re as despicable as me.
Lorna: And why’s that?
Eli: I made no secret of what I was. You, on the other hand, are just yards away from the husband and daughter you abandoned months ago and you have no intention of committing yourself again, do you?
Lorna: That’s not true.
Eli: You’re giving them false hope.
Lorna: No.
Eli: Yes! You’re giving Peter hope that he might get his wife back some day when you know…
Eli: Deep down…
Eli: You’ll run far, far away before that ever happens.
Lorna: Stop.
Eli: You’ll hurt him even more than I did!
Shiro: Am I interrupting?
Lorna: No.
Shiro: I’ve been wanting to speak to you.
Lorna: Then speak.
Shiro: I’m done with idling around. You and I can end things ourselves.
Lorna: How?
Shiro: We sneak into Victoria. Take out as many of Blaine’s people as we can. If we do it and survive, then we’ve got a legendary story to tell people over drinks for the rest of our lives.
Lorna: And if we die?
Shiro: Then at least we’ll give everyone else a fighting chance.
Lorna: And what if we’re caught? They use us as leverage over Henry?
Shiro: Then we put guns to our temples and pull the trigger.
Shiro: That scare you?
Shiro: Me neither. So, why don’t we just fucking do this?
Blaine: Everything’s in motion. If this is happening, I need to leave now.
Blaine: Alexis? If you’re unwilling, then now needs to be the time to say.
Alexis: Go.
Drew: What was that about with Lorna?
Drew: Shiro…
Shiro: You wanna stop!?
Drew: No.
Matt: There’s still time.
Alexis: What?
Matt: If I hurry, I can catch-up.
Alexis: Matt…
Matt: You don’t want this!
Alexis: Of course I don’t!
Matt: Then why!?
Alexis: I have to think about this place! I have to think of Stephen!
Matt: If I kill Blaine, we can call a truce. Only one person needs to die.
Alexis: We killed their people!
Matt: Blaine did!
Alexis: You think they’ll see the difference!?
Alexis: If we don’t get rid of them now, we’ll be sitting ducks waiting for an attack.
Matt: I can fix this!
Alexis: Matt…
Matt: There are children there!
Alexis: It’s too late.
Matt: You’re not the woman Jenson said you were.
Lorna: I’m sorry.
Lorna: Goodbye, darling.
Mark: And where are you going?
Lorna: Perimeter check.
Mark: Henry didn’t mention–
Shiro: Wanna wake him and ask?
Mark: I’ll take your word for it.
Bernadette: Can’t sleep?
Angie: Gonna try. You?
Bernadette: I’m a night-owl.
Bernadette: It’s Angie, right?
Angie: Uh-huh.
Bernadette: I hear we have something in common.
Angie: Yeah? And what’s that?
Bernadette: A mutual hatred for Alexis.
Bernadette: Wonder who hates her more?
Jasmin: Ready for my shift.
Mark: You’re not meant to start for another two hours?
Jasmin: I’m offering.
Mark: When it’s this cold? Your funeral.
Peter: Ready to get going?
Charlotte: You bet.
Shiloh: Should I tag along?
Charlotte: And let you off on doing the laundry like you agreed? Not a chance.
Angie: Guys, really, you don’t have to do this.
Bobby: It’s not just for you, Angie. We care about Javier, too.
Peter: We just wanna make sure he’s all right.
Shiloh: You guys might wanna take Ben if you’re heading to the woods. He’ll hear and smell the dead’uns quicker than you will.
Peter: All right.
Jai: Good luck.
Bobby: Thanks, Jai.
Felicia: Oh. Hello.
Jai: If I’m interrupting I can come back later?
Felicia: Of course not!
Felicia: I wasn’t exactly welcoming to you when you first came to town, was I?
Jai: Not really.
Felicia: I’m sorry.
Jai: Don’t be. You’re a perfectionist and you had your own thing going here.
Felicia: Plus, I wasn’t sure you were any good at your job.
Jai: And what do you think now?
Felicia: Jury’s still out.
Jai: (Laughs).
Felicia: Jai, I hope you don’t mind me asking, but would you like to grab dinner later?
Jai: I’m married.
Felicia: Oh. I thought your wife…
Jai: I’m still married.
Felicia: Of course. Forget I said anything.
Jai: But dinner as friends and colleagues? I’d be delighted.
Felicia: See you later, then.
Lorna: Break?
Shiro: I’m keen to get there.
Lorna: You won’t be getting anywhere if you die of exhaustion.
Shiro: Two minutes.
Shiro: I know you were talking to someone last night.
Lorna: I talk to myself sometimes.
Shiro: Not what it sounded like to me.
Lorna: I’m not crazy.
Shiro: Never said you were.
Shiro: Way back at the start of this, I was with Ollie on a run. We bumped into these redneck guys. They seemed OK at first. Agreed to work with us to clear the dead and get food from a supermarket. But they turned on us. Let us get swarmed. Then scrammed with the goods.
Shiro: Anger just took over. I shot the bigger guy four times in the back as they ran. Ollie took out the other one before he could retaliate.
Lorna: Is there a point to this story?
Shiro: Ollie and I grabbed the food and got of there. At first I felt fine. Empowered, even. Up until that point I wondered whether I would have the stomach to survive in this world. To do what needed to be done. Turns out I did. I felt relieved. How fucked up is that? Didn’t feel an ounce of guilt. Not after those scumbags left us for dead.
Shiro: What I didn’t count on was seeing that fucking fat redneck everywhere I went.
Lorna: You saw him?
Shiro: Like he was right there. In person. I tried speaking to him. Asked him to leave me the fuck alone.
Lorna: How did you get it to stop?
Shiro: I came to a realisation. I figured out I was seeing him because I wanted to.
Lorna: Why would you want–?
Shiro: So I wouldn’t forget what I did. I guess my guilt manifested itself in a different way.
Shiro: Two minutes are up.
Bobby: What trail are you seeing!?
Charlotte: You see the leaves here?
Bobby: Look normal enough to me.
Charlotte: They’re all gathered in one place. Someone’s trying to cover their tracks.
Bobby: Javier?
Charlotte: He’s good. I almost missed this.
Peter: If he moved over night, he could be long gone.
Charlotte: This trail is fresh.
Peter: How fresh?
Charlotte: About as fresh as it gets.
Lorna: I wonder if they realise we’re gone.
Shiro: Not yet.
Lorna: Drew wouldn’t have noticed?
Shiro: He’ll still be dead to the world. I put a sedative in his drink.
Lorna: Shiro…
Shiro: I was careful.
Shiro: I just really don’t want them coming after us.
Javier: I’m not coming back with you.
Bobby: Why!?
Javier: I want to be alone, Bobby.
Bobby: So, Angie means nothing to you? I mean nothing?
Javier: Don’t put words in my mouth, amigo.
Bobby: Then why go!?
Javier: Because I do care. Because I can’t do it anymore.
Bobby: Do what!?
Javier: Watch people die.
Bobby: What are you!? A coward!?
Javier: I guess so.
Bobby: All those weeks on the road with you… in the city… I thought you were the bravest man I ever met. I look…
Bobby: Looked up to you. Clearly I was wrong.
Bobby: Enjoy the solitary life, bro.
Charlotte: Bobby…
Javier: You gonna shout at me, too?
Peter: I just wanted to say sorry.
Javier: For what?
Peter: Our differences in the past.
Peter: I didn’t trust you at all when we first met. I’m ashamed to say I couldn’t see anything past the tattoos and the fact you were in prison. I even thought about asking you to leave camp. Didn’t want you around my daughter. But I put aside my distrust and forced myself to give you a chance.
Peter: And I’m glad I did. You’re a good man, Javier. I like you. Respect you.
Javier: Why are you telling me this?
Peter: Just wanted you to know. I mean if this truly is the last time we see each other…
Javier: I’ll never be as much of a man as you.
Peter: You should think higher of yourself. I do.
Peter: They’ll always be a home for you with us.
Lydia-Jean: You two are speaking again?
Bernadette: Have you seen Jasmin?
Lydia-Jean: She’s sleeping on the sofa, I think.
Lydia-Jean: Should I eavesdrop? I mean, I want to…
Lydia-Jean: Fuck it.
Bernadette: Hey!
Jasmin: Hm?
Bernadette: Wake up!
Luke: We need to talk.
Drew: Shiro?
Jasmin: I have nothing to say to either of you.
Bernadette: I think you’ll find we have a lot to talk about.
Henry: You doing much, son?
Shiloh: About to get started on laundry.
Henry: Well, I hate to drag you away…
Blaine: Any minute now…
Drew: Penny, you seen Shiro?
Penny: Don’t think so.
Drew: At all? Today?
Penny: Nope.
Drew: Fuck!
Bernadette: Are you working for Alexis and Blaine?
Jasmin: What!?
Bernadette: It’s a straight-forward enough question.
Jasmin: You’re fucking crazy!
Luke: Just answer, Jasmin.
Henry: Gather Donna and a few of the others. I wanna take a group and head out.
Shiloh: Where?
Henry: To see Noah.
Henry: So we can make a plan to take out Alexis together.
Jasmin: She’s brainwashed you, Luke.
Luke: You still haven’t answered the question.
Jasmin: I don’t need to answer shit!
Donna: You called?
Drew: Henry!
Jasmin: I’ve had enough of this place…
Bernadette: Excuse me!?
Jasmin: I’m going.
Bernadette: You’re not going anywhere!
Luke: Oh my God. It’s true, isn’t it!?
Henry: When did he leave!?
Drew: During the night probably. And unless anyone’s seen Lorna, I don’t think he went alone.
Henry: Shiloh?
Shiloh: Haven’t seen her since last night.
Henry: Crying out loud!
Jasmin: Luke…
Luke: The hell is wrong with you!?
Bernadette: I think it’s time we filled in Henry, don’t you?
Jasmin: Oh, go fuck yourself, Bernadette!
Luke: I get that you hate her, and I understand, but why would you do this to me? To Daniel? After what Blaine did to Shannon!?
Jasmin: Shannon’s fine.
Luke: What!?
Jasmin: Trust me.
Luke: Jasmin…
Bernadette: She’s dead.
Blaine: Don’t see you, girl.
Henry: We need to stop them before they get themselves captured…
Shiloh: Or worse. Honestly, what a fucking stupid move.
Donna: Nah. Good on ‘em. I’m sad I didn’t get an invite.
Henry: I think you’ve done more than enough.
Jai: Someone needs to find Peter.
Georgie: We’ll go.
Jasmin: This is just another one of your lies!
Luke: It’s not.
Jasmin: You can’t trust a word that comes out of her mouth!
Luke: I was the one who found her. She’d turned. I had to put a bullet in her because of that man.
Jasmin: I… no…
Georgie: Lydia, would you mind watching Beatrice?
Lydia-Jean: Where are you going?
Georgie: Just off an errand.
Jasmin: I have to stop him!
Luke: Who!?
Bernadette: There’s a reason I’ve never liked this girl.
Donna: Please. Go slower.
Shiloh: Don’t tempt me.
Henry: You seen Elaine?
Waylon: Sorry, man.
Henry: Could you pass on a message?
Lydia-Jean: Wha-!?
Jasmin: Take the little girl and get out of here!
Lydia-Jean: What!?
Jasmin: You wanna live? You want her to live? Just do it! Now!
Georgie: I can’t track.
Angie: Me neither.
Georgie: This should go well.
Henry: Let’s move on out.
Blaine: You’re running out of time…
Luke: Jasmin, what are you doing!?
Jasmin: Get Daniel and get out of here!
Luke: What!? Why!?
Jasmin: Are you stupid, Luke!? Why would I be telling you do to this!? Use your brain!
Luke: The hell have you done, Jasmin!? Shit!
Shiloh: What’s all the fucking commotion up there?
Georgie: You sure they headed this way?
Angie: Positive.
Charlotte: Wanna talk?
Bobby: Nothing to talk about.
Peter: Give him time.
Henry: What’s going on?
Jasmin: Excuse me…
Donna: You going somewhere, lady?
Blaine: Fuck it.
Luke: Daniel!? DANIEL!?
Waylon: Elaine, Henry was looking for you.
Elaine: Where is he?
Waylon: He left.
Elaine: To go where?
Felicia: Everything OK?
Luke: Any of you seen my little brother!?
Mark: No?
Luke: Get out of town now!
Penny: Why!?
Luke: DANIEL!
Jasmin: Let me past.
Donna: Not when you’re acting all shifty.
Rachel: Give her a break, Donna.
Henry: We just want to see what’s wrong, Jasmin.
Jasmin: Nothing’s wrong! Just let me go!
Blaine: Time for little old Midway to go boom.
Waylon: He told me to say goodbye.
Daniel: Luke, why are you shouting?
Luke: What were you doing in there!?
Daniel: Peter said I could look at some of Beatrice’s toys…
Luke: C’mon!
Blaine: Five…
Jasmin: I just want a walk, OK?
Blaine: Four…
Bernadette: She’s lying.
Blaine: Three…
Luke: Hurry up!
Daniel: Why are you yelling at me!? I’m going as fast as I can!
Blaine: Two…
Penny: Why do you look so down?
Felicia: Jai’s stood me up.
Mark: Do you guys know why everyone’s acting so strange!?
Blaine: One.
Angie: What the fuck!?
Georgie: That doesn’t sound good.
Peter: That sounded as if…
Charlotte: It can’t be.
Henry: No… no… no… my town…
Shiloh: How the fuck did this happen!?
Bernadette: Ask her!
Donna: You better start spilling your guts, lady, or I’m gonna do it for ya.
Jasmin: I’m sorry! I’m so so sorry!
Henry: Elaine!?
Elaine: Fuck…
Henry: Are you OK!?
Elaine: I think so…
Rachel: Penny… Felicia… they were all up there!
Jai: Beatrice…
Georgie: Peter, there you are!
Peter: Did you hear that!?
Angie: Of course.
Charlotte: What are you two doing out here!?
Angie: We were sent out to find you! Shiro and Lorna left for Victoria last night!
Bobby: Why!?
Charlotte: I don’t think those two will call in just to say hi.
Peter: What the–!?
Charlotte: Oh my God.
Bobby: SHIT!
Peter: Henry – what the fuck!?
Henry: I… I… don’t know…
Peter: Beatrice!?
Georgie: Where is she!?
Jai: Peter…
Georgie: I left her with Lydia!
Jai: We didn’t see her come down.
Georgie: NO!
Peter: Not again… please…
Lydia-Jean: Guys?
Georgie: Thank God!
Peter: We thought you were up there!
Lydia-Jean: I thought Blaine was gonna come and shoot the place up, or something. I wasn’t… I never expected this.
Henry: Why would you think that!?
Lydia-Jean: Jasmin told me to leave town.
Donna: You really best start talking.
Jasmin: Luke? Daniel? Are they–!?
Charlotte: Be careful, Shiloh!
Shiloh: Luke has a pulse!
Bernadette: Daniel!?
Shiloh: I’m sorry.
Jasmin: No!
Henry: What did you do!?
Bernadette: She was working for Blaine. Whatever caused that explosion was planted by her.
Jasmin: No! It wasn’t me who–
Peter: You mean it was Blaine!? He’s been here!?
Bernadette: And she was the one who told Blaine where you were meeting the other group. That’s how he was able to ambush you all.
Donna: And you decided to sit on this information!?
Bernadette: I’ve only just found out.
Henry: Is it true?
Jasmin: I’m sorry… I’m so sorry… he tricked me…
Bernadette: A likely story.
Jasmin: He told me he’d give me Shannon… said she was alive and that he’d–
Jai: We need to get to Noah’s. Now.
Elaine: It’s gone, sweetheart.
Elaine: Henry? We have to go.
Jasmin: I wanted to get Shannon… to save her… get her away from all of this.
Bernadette: She’s dead.
Jasmin: I didn’t…
Bernadette: And now Daniel is, too. Thanks to you.
Jasmin: Make no mistake. I’m going to my grave knowing the role I played in all of this. But what about you? What about when your time comes, Bernie? You think God will fall for that bullshit motherly persona?
Jasmin: You and Blaine. Playing people… manipulating… trying to cause a war… got what you’ve wanted, haven’t you?
The second season finale will be published at some point over the next few weeks.
Oh my everloving Goddess!!!
That was…
Words fail! I had forgotten how epic this was!!! Glad my favourites seem to have survived. I love that if Javier hadn’t left almost everyone would have died…

Hi, Magpie! I take it you’re surprised? Lol. Thank you so much for your comment!
Yeah! If Javier didn’t leave and Shiro and Lorna hadn’t headed off alone to confront Alexis and Blaine, it would’ve been a bloodbath for our main characters! Lucky them, eh? 😉
They’re not out of the woods yet, though! One more episode left of season two! 😀

Haha. Well, you might have a little bit of a wait! I finished writing the final episode of season 2 in the early hours of this morning so I’m yet to film it! Hopefully it won’t take me too long!
As for the episode… boy, oh boy! It should hopefully be the most intense so far.

Wow, great episode! I was a little frustrated reading last episode because it felt like the season was moving way too slow and than this explosion happened!!! So excited for the finale, I also think this is the only sim tv series where children actually die in it, Beatrice is actually the only one remaining of the four children on the show.

Thanks, Colin! You’re of course entitled to your own opinion, but I’d say the vast majority of the second half of season two has been quite fast-paced. I mean, did you read episode 17!? Haha. There’s going to be a lot of talking on this show because writing dialogue and having the characters communicate with each other is the most important thing for me. I hate shows where it’s just non-stop action and there’s no character development or substance behind anything.
The season’s definitely been long, and if I could have cut any episodes, I would have, but there was genuinely nothing I felt comfortable about getting rid of. I think I’m right in saying every episode of season two has led up to this upcoming season finale in some way. I hope it all pays off for you! 😀 Season three is currently planned to be a couple of episodes shorter and my plans for it will definitely have the first handful of episodes being extremely quick-paced! 🙂
And yes, children do and will die on this show. It’s the apocalypse, at the end of the day and I don’t want to shy away from killing anybody if the story calls for it. I considered keeping Daniel and Shannon alive, but there was no other reason behind it other than the fact I didn’t really want to kill them off because they were kids. Shannon’s death ended up setting things up in a big way for the explosion and Daniel’s loss will have a big affect on Luke going forward, so I feel they’re justified. Stephen and Beatrice had best watch their backs! No, I’m kidding, they’re gonna be fine. 😛
Thanks again for your feedback, Colin! 😀 Much appreciated.

Oh, I guess that is one thing in that Shannon’s death seemed unrealistic in the fact that I see no way that a person would really want a child dead. I think anybody would be smart enough to realize that the person another person wanted dead was not a child.
That’s really the only “issue ” (not really an issue though) I had with this season that’s not a nitpick (the story being kind of slow is a total nitpick). I can’t wait for season 3, also I can totally see your dedication this season with the wiki. It’s awesome, you even have Wikipedia pages for really minor characters like Yvonne. I think the Wikipedia pages blew me away more than anything. I can’t wait to see how Peter and Lorna’s stories continue on also, Peter’s my favorite character and I find Lorna’s story interesting. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the storyline between Shiro and his new boyfriend, that storyline is probably my favorite storyline actually.

Uh, I’m a tad confused. Lol. I’ll try and explain! Alexis ordered for Blaine to take Jasmin out of town and abandon her. She made it clear she was not to be killed, so Blaine made the error and considering Alexis called Jasmin a “stupid girl”, you could see why he might have thought she was referring to Shannon. And to give Blaine a little bit of credit, he did everything in his power to actually keep Shannon from dying by dropping her off so close to Midway and telling her to go there. It’s just a shame she clearly didn’t listen. So, yeah, Blaine made a stupid mistake, but I don’t think it’s hugely unrealistic personally. But hey ho!
And aw, thank you! The wikia is there for me more so than anyone else as helps organise my mind and keep rehashing everything that’s happened on the show so it all feels fresh and I remember everything. 😀 I’m glad you like the storylines, too! And nice to see a fan of Shiro and Drew’s romance!

Yeah, absolutely Sam. Also, I apologize, my memory is insanely good so I just assume others are when I ask questions about your older shows because despite watching them like 8 years ago (can’t believe it was that long ago), I still remember the series EXTREMELY well and remember the same questions and curiousities my eleven year old brain had lol.
I was actually going to ask you an obscure question about Bob and Betty that I remember having when I was eleven but there’s no way that anybody other than me and my weird memory would remember lol

Sure! Go ahead. I just hope I’ll remember.

Oh, the Bob and Betty question lol. There’s no way you’ll remember. Little 11 year old me for some reason loved the Veronaville ladies and was upset they only appeared in three episodes. Anyway, there were five women. Veronica was the black lady and Anne was the lady with the brown hair. There were three other ladies:
1. Lady with a brown mullet (it’s not a mullet but it looks like it)
2. Lady with short brown hair
3. Gray haired lady
There names were Tina, Sharon, and Nancy but you never said which was which and since they were my favorite characters I wanted to know lol. I assumed Nancy was the gray-haired woman just because that’s an older name but IDK lol. #6thgradeproblemsandcuriousities
But yeah, random things bugged me when I was eleven. Like it never made sense to me how Ariel on Crystal Town was 26 and Aaron was 17 since it was her son, my guess is you meant to put 36 on the cast page. Never heard of a pregnant 9 year old lol but maybe you have? #middleschoolerwithTOOmuchtimeontheirhands
I also think I missed Karina’s death somewhere because she was absent from the last episode so I’ll have to rewatch.

The Vernonavile ladies were a lot of fun. I remember having a plan that they would appear once per series and each time they would flee from the scene and every time get into separate identical vehicles and it was going to get more and more ridiculous as it went along. I’m talking from speed boats to Pogo sticks! As for their names, I have absolutely no idea! Sorry!
Lol. CT was dreadful. From what I can recall, Karina never died. The last episode was written as a premiere for the next season that never happened so when I decided to end it, I figured that one episode was a perfect finale. It just so happened Karina didn’t feature because she wasn’t close to Tina.
Man, this feels like a lifetime ago! Thanks for the journey back!

Oh, I disagree. Crystal town was great, do you think you’ll ever continue it, I’d love it if you would!!!
Actually, the earthquake episode is probably my single favorite episode of any sim tv show. Everything about it was perfect, from the calm before the storm to the aftermath.

I see, is Sim Brother done for good also too? Honestly I prefer this series of sim brother, you weren’t really given a fair chance with Sim Brother as it already had it’s iconic seasons when you started creating it (2005-2006).
With that being said, I WANTED Sim Brother All-Stars so if you can ever do that that would be fantastic!!! I remember you put a poll out for it years ago and it never came to fruition. If you don’t want to do any more seasons of Sim Brother I understand but if you ever do do anoyher one I think that me and a lot of fans would love an All-Star season!

Very good episode. I liked the way you showed the explosion at the beginning and then built up to it throughout the episode. I also liked that the bomb was Eli’s, making it kind of like his spectre still haunting everybody (his appearance once again in the episode also compounded this). All the zombies at the beginning were amazing. I don’t think you’ve ever packed so many, so tightly into single shots. Blaine is despicable but an awful lot of fun. His little remarks and comedic turns really add something to the show. For a moment I thought he was going to draw away the zombies himself, but it was amusing that he farmed the job out to someone else. I think Alexis is in way out of her depth with him now. I particularly liked that shot where she closes her eyes as he walks away. I also enjoyed Coleman’s and particularly Matt’s defiance of him. And I liked how Alexis, Coleman and Matt looked from their windows later as the inhabitants of Victoria were turned into an army.
I rather enjoyed Donna’s brief meeting with Jesse. She seemed to like him more than she likes most people. I find myself wondering if we’ll see him again. Donna was pretty good in this episode. I enjoyed her tactless “gay it up” remark upon arriving back in Midway. As you might imagine, Jasmine pissed me off in this episode. It was unusual to find myself on Bernadette’s side. I also enjoyed Shiro and Lorna’s conversation, where Shiro picked up on her Eli visions. Lorna’s conversation with Eli was good, as she grapples with her dilemma over leaving or staying. I also liked Peter’s own dilemma over Angie.
The explosion itself was very well built-up and executed. I liked Blaine’s expression as he said “one”, as well as the shots of various characters as he counted down. It was wonderfully suspenseful trying to work out who would escape and who wouldn’t. The actual explosion was an extremely impressive example of special effects and probably the best so far. I also liked the bright effect on the character reaction shots. That said, the eventual skeleton crew of near-nobodies that was actually killed was somewhat amusing and exasperating. It was quite convenient how everybody suddenly had a reason to go out just as the explosion was coming, meaning that almost nobody of any story significance died.
All in all, very good work once again. I greatly look forward to the season finale.
