Cecilia: Noah’s decision is final!
Georgie: And it’s down to him to decide what I do!?
Cecilia: If you want to continue staying here, then yes!

Donna: For the last time, lady, I didn’t touch your fucking dinner!
Bernadette: Then explain how it’s disappeared in the space of ten minutes!?
Donna: I’ve literally just walked in here!

Peter: You said you would do it within a few days!
Lorna: And I will, OK!? I just need to prepare myself…
Peter: You’re her mother, Lorna! You can’t avoid her forever!

Noah: Alexis is my prisoner, Shiro. What ultimately becomes of her is down to me and me alone.
Shiro: So, she gets to live after everything she did!?
Noah: I haven’t decided yet!
Shiro: It shouldn’t be down to you to decide at all!

Georgie: If I want to go and search for my friends then I can!
Cecilia: Those doors are not opening while that horde remains outside!
Georgie: You can’t keep us as prisoners!
Cecilia: For goodness sake, Georgie, it’s for everybody’s safety!

Bernadette: What am I supposed to do now!? That was the last thing left of my rations and now I’m going to have to starve until tomorrow afternoon!
Donna: Not my problem!
Bernadette: Have you got anything left!?
Donna: What’s that got to do with you!?

Lorna: Peter, you have no idea how difficult this is for me!
Peter: I’ve been more than patient! That little girl needs her mother!
Lorna: So much has happened since… I just… I don’t know if I can go back to being the way I was…
Peter: I never took my wife for a coward!

Noah: Shiro, if you continue to press me on this, I will be forced to ask you to leave!
Shiro: Blaine killed your people on her behalf! Yet you keep her alive!?
Noah: Revenge is a fool’s game.

Georgie: Angie and the others are still out there! And you told us Bobby and Lydia left with Javier! They might need our help!
Cecilia: Someone from my group is out there, too! But as much as I’m worried about Diego and wish I could help him, there’s nothing we can do for him or any of the others right now!
Georgie: They could be trapped… starving… injured! We can’t just sit here!

Bernadette: I think it’s only fair you let me have the rest of your rations!
Donna: And why’s that!?
Bernadette: Because you ate mine!
Donna: I DIDN’T TOUCH YOUR FUCKING FOOD!

Lorna: Peter, I can’t deal with this right now!
Peter: You’re so selfish!
Lorna: Selfish!? You have no idea what I’ve–
Peter: Milo was our son, Lorna! We both lost him!

Noah: She says she has information on Michael Lewis’ research!
Shiro: That wacky scientist who was with her!? She’s lying!
Noah: But what if she isn’t!?
Shiro: Who cares!? Michael’s dead! And she should be, too!

Cecilia: Everybody needs to calm down!
Shiro: Stay out of this, lady!

Noah: Don’t speak to her like that!
Peter: Shiro, c’mon…

Cecilia: Alexis is locked up. She’s not going anywhere.
Shiro: For now! What happens when she gets an opportunity!?
Noah: She won’t.
Peter: There’s no way of knowing that for sure, Noah.

Shiro: She killed so many of our people! She needs to pay!
Noah: Blaine’s dead. Isn’t that enough to satisfy your blood-lust for now!?
Peter: Where’s Henry? Maybe we should hear what he has to say…

Shiro: Henry’s lost his way! He’s not backing us on this! We need to take action on our own!
Noah: Meaning!?
Shiro: Meaning if you don’t let us in there, we’ll force our way in!

Noah: Try it.

Noah: And just what is it you think you’re doing!?

Jai: What someone should’ve done days ago.

Jai: I’m taking control.

Alexis: That was certainly dramatic.
Jai: I needed them to know I was serious.

Jai: Not necessarily.

Jai: Years ago, my school friends used to try and persuade me to enter into Poker tournaments.
Alexis: Right?
Jai: I refused, of course. My religion prohibited gambling.
Alexis: What does this have to do with anything?
Jai: I’m not finished.

Jai: The reason they were so eager was because I have an uncanny knack of being able to tell when people are lying to me.

Jai: I implore you to bear that in mind as we begin our conversation, Alexis.

Jai: Noah says you haven’t told him anything about Michael’s research, which you claim to have read before you destroyed it. I’m inclined to believe it was a lie to save your own skin, but we shall cross that bridge when we come to it.

Jai: If you promise to be entirely honest with me and answer every question I ask you then you have my word: I will not let anyone, my friends or otherwise, harm you. You will not be killed, Alexis. Understood?

Alexis: And I’m supposed to take your word for that?
Jai: What other choice do you have? I’d say your rapidly running out of options. You can hear it out there. A lot of people want you dead, and I’m not sure how much longer Noah can hold them off.
Alexis: And what’s to stop them from killing me even if you don’t want them to?
Jai: I’ll do everything I have to do to keep you safe. I’ll protect you. I mean it.

Jai: You didn’t read Michael’s research at all, did you?

Alexis: No.
Jai: And did you destroy it?

Alexis: No.
Jai: Meaning it’s still in Victoria?
Alexis: Yes.

Jai: There’s no way we’re getting back into the city anytime soon. If Noah discovered this, Shiro would be the least of your concerns.

Jai: If there’s anything else you have to tell me, Alexis, now would be the opportune time.

Alexis: The first day I was brought here… Noah took me out of the infirmary and took me into his office. He left me alone for a few minutes. He received a call.
Jai: And you answered?
Alexis: Somebody called Anthony was on the line. He told me the compound he was at was being attacked by the dead. He told me they were evacuating so he was sending over the…

Jai: What?
Alexis: I think he said details of the extraction point. Something like that.
Jai: Noah and his group aren’t meant to stay here. They were supposed to go somewhere else eventually. And from what you’re saying, it would appear they’ve missed their chance.

Alexis: Not yet.

Cecilia: Let me get this straight, Alexis alone knows where we’re supposed to be going!?
Jai: Yes.
Cecilia: This is some sort of sick joke…
Shiro: She’s bullshitting.
Cecilia: How would she know about Anthony!? Or about the extraction!? She’s telling the truth.

Cecilia: Noah? Are you OK?

Noah: This explains why we haven’t heard anything…

Noah: The one time they get in touch… the one time… and her… of all people.
Cecilia: What do we do?
Noah: Has she told you where the extraction point is, Jai?
Jai: No.

Shiro: I have an idea on how we get that information out of her.

Jai: Let me make myself perfectly clear, Shiro, if you wish to harm Alexis, you have to go through me first. Understood?
Shiro: Jai?
Jai: I mean it. Don’t push me on this.

Peter: Why would she give us the information she wants to know if she believes we’ll just kill her anyway?
Jai: That’s precisely why she’s staying quiet. On that front, at least.

Noah: What has she said?
Jai: The time of the extraction.
Noah: Really!? When is it!?
Jai: Two days from now. Sunset.
Noah: Jesus…

Peter: She’ll be useless to us after that point. She knows that. So, what’s she proposing?
Jai: She knows where the extraction point is. Literally, I mean. She’s been there before. So, she’s going to lead us to it herself.
Shiro: I say we just stay here.
Noah: Feel free. This place will run out of power within weeks.
Shiro: We can’t find more propane?
Noah: To what end? It’ll just be temporary.

Shiro: And this place you’re all losing your minds over won’t be?
Noah: It’s invulnerable to the dead.
Shiro: How? Where is it?
Noah: If I knew I wouldn’t be here. We have no choice. We have to do this her way.

Noah: He better not get in the way.
Jai: He won’t.

Jai: I take it you’re pleased we’re moving out of here in the morning?

Jai: You need to stay with us, Georgie. I know you’re worried about the others. I am, too. But we have an opportunity here… to get somewhere safe. Truly safe.

Georgie: But we’re supposed to leave them behind?
Jai: Once we’re set up, we’ll do everything we can to come back and try and find them. You have my word on that.
Georgie: Angie’s like a sister to me. Charlotte and I have gotten closer since she came back. I wouldn’t be alive today if it wasn’t for Shiloh. Bobby… Javier… they’re my family.

Jai: And they’re mine, too. But this is important. We have a chance to get Beatrice somewhere safe. I know you want that more than anything. And it will take all of us to do that. You’ve seen what’s out there. It’s not going to be easy.

Georgie: I won’t do anything rash. Promise.
Rachel: Guys?

Rachel: Luke’s awake.

Georgie: How is he?
Cecilia: He’s refusing to speak. I understand. He must be in shock and he doesn’t know me.
Rachel: Should we get Bernadette?
Jai: I’ll speak with him.

Jai: Luke? How are you feeling?

Luke: Where’s Daniel?
Jai: He…
Luke: I know he’s dead. Where is he? Where did you bury him?
Jai: We had to get out of there. Midway was burning… attracting the dead… 

Luke: You just left him there!?
Jai: We had to concentrate on getting everyone here… getting you here… you had a nasty fall, and of course, your burns…

Jai: Where are you going?
Luke: To put my brother to rest.
Jai: Luke, we probably won’t be here when you come back.

Luke: I’m not coming back.

Bernadette: Luke! They said you were up! Are you OK!?

Bernadette: Oh! Oh, honey…
Donna: Whoa. Check you out.

Donna: Those burns make you look badass.

Donna: HEY!

Jai: I think you got off lightly.

Bernadette: Hasn’t that poor boy been through enough?
Donna: I’m fed up with you hassling me, lady!

Bernadette: I’m going to get him!

Jai: Go grab half of your rations, Donna.

Jai: You heard me fine.
Donna: Why would I do that!?
Jai: So, you can give it to Bernadette. You took hers, after all.

Donna: And I’m supposed to do as you tell me?

Jai: Are you with us?
Lorna: Sorry?

Jai: And you intend on doing what you promised Peter? That you will try to re-connect with Beatrice?
Lorna: Yes.

Jai: That’s all I needed to know.

Peter: Oh. Jai.

Peter: I was just going to apologise to her. I said some things…
Jai: She meant what she said, Peter. Just give her time. You don’t want to push her away for good.

Bernadette: I couldn’t find him…

Jai: Because he didn’t want you to.

Jai: We move out in the morning. Until then, can we have some peace and quiet around here? 

Henry: I don’t think I can do this.

Henry: How can we just leave him here? All alone?
Peter: It’ll be kinder than him getting torn to pieces out there.
Georgie: We’ve left plenty of food and water.
Peter: And once we’re settled at this new place, we’ll come back for him.

Henry: What if we’re unable to?
Peter: Shiloh… Angie… the others. They’re out there somewhere. We’ll have to leave at some point to find them. We’ll make time to come back for Ben.

Henry: Oh, Ben. I’m so, so sorry.

Henry: I love you, boy.
Jai: We should get going.

Georgie: Probably best not to look.

Jai: You ready?
Alexis: Yes.
Jai: Stay by my side. And don’t try anything.

Bernadette: I’m watching her.

Alexis: Why break the habit of a lifetime?

Noah: Lead the way.

Shiro: This is madness.
Drew: Shiro…

Shiro: She could be leading us into a trap for all we know.
Drew: How exactly? She’s been locked up and all her people are dead.

Henry: Aside from losing Midway, you mean?
Jai: Tell me to mind my own business, but things appear strained between you and Elaine.
Henry: She’s completely pulled away from me. I don’t understand what I’ve done.
Jai: Shiloh never trusted her.

Henry: Are you saying I shouldn’t?
Jai: You know her a lot better than I do.

Lorna: Look alive! 

Peter: Fight or flight?
Noah: There’s too many of us to divert them away properly.
Shiro: Good. We can take ‘em.

Jai: Bernadette, Georgie, hang back with Alexis and Beatrice. The rest of us will deal with this.

Peter: OK. I think that’ll do.
Noah: Everyone pick up the pace so we can lose the rest of them.
Jai: And no talking.

Noah: How much further?
Alexis: I don’t know.
Noah: Why not!?

Alexis: How am I supposed to know how long it’ll take us to get there when we have the dead to contend with!?
Noah: Them aside, how long?
Alexis: Over an hour, probably closer to two.
Noah: C’mon, people. Faster.

Alexis: You’re wondering if I actually know where I’m going?
Jai: I know you do.
Alexis: What makes you so confident?

Jai: You might be good at games, Alexis. But I think you’ll find it quite futile trying to get one over on me. I see straight through it. You’re a smart woman. You’ll take us to where we need to go. Or on your head be it.

Sometime later…

Georgie: Beatrice is freezing.
Peter: We need to get shelter. Now.

Noah: How much further?
Alexis: It’s… I…
Shiro: Spit it out, will you!?
Alexis: Give me a second! It’s not exactly easy in the dark!

Shiro: She’s playing us!
Peter: Shiro…
Shiro: She’s taking us for a ride and we’re stupid enough to fall for it!

Shiro: She’s fucking full of it! I say we go back!

Cecilia: OH, ENOUGH!

Alexis: It’s here!

Donna: Yeah. I don’t quite buy that somehow, lady.

Noah: This was the extraction point? The middle of nowhere!?
Shiro: I told you guys!
Jai: Alexis? 

Alexis: The guy said it was by a dead tree with two furs on either side a quarter of a mile south-east from the Riverside Docks. That’s here. I’ve brought us to where he told us to go.

Shiro: Bullshit.
Donna: She’s lying.

Alexis: I am not lying! This is it! 

Jai: I think she’s telling the truth, Noah.
Noah: I don’t understand?
Cecilia: Have they gone without us?

Drew: I’ll have a look around.
Rachel: Me too.
Peter: Be careful.

Georgie: Anyone else got a bad feeling about this place?
Donna: Mhm.

Lorna: Paranoia won’t get us anywhere.

Shiro: If you’ve set us up…
Alexis: And how exactly could I have managed that when I’ve been locked up!?
Jai: She’s right, Shiro.

Bernadette: I’m not taking my eyes away from you, if that’s what you’re asking.

Rachel: Guys!

Rachel: There’s someone here… 

Peter: Whoa! Don’t come any closer!
Rachel: It’s all right. I’ve got him.
Man: I don’t mean any harm.

Shiro: You try anything, buddy, and you’ll regret it!
Man: I’m already a dead man, brother.

Man: I’ve been bit.

Jai: So, who are you?
Man: My name’s Oscar. Oscar Menendez.
Jai: And what brings you out here, Oscar?

Oscar: My group… we were overrun. As far as I’m aware, I’m the only one who made it out. Not unscathed, of course.
Peter: When did this happen?
Oscar: Earlier today. We had only just arrived here. For a while everything was fine… but the dead. We thought we lost them as we made our way here from our old base. Apparently not. They found us… we were swarmed within minutes.
Shiro: I’m sorry, but am I missing something there? Where’s this group of yours exactly!?

Oscar: About thirty foot below us.

Alexis: I won’t say I told you so.

Noah: Wait… you’re with Beckett!?
Oscar: The Doc? You know her?
Noah: I’m Noah Ashby.
Oscar: Oh… oh! You’re supposed to meet us here?
Noah: That’s right.

Oscar: Well, I’m sorry, but… I don’t think there’s much here for you anymore.
Noah: Fuck.

Cecilia: Is there a chance anybody down there is alive?
Oscar: I don’t know? Maybe.
Cecilia: If we can go down–?

Oscar: Place is swarmed. I don’t know how exactly they got down there, but we didn’t stand a chance. It’s too enclosed… we were stuck. Nowhere to run.

Peter: If he’s right, there’s not going to be any extraction anywhere.
Shiro: This was a waste of time. I say we go back. Make the best of a bad situation. At least it’s safe.
Cecilia: We can’t just give in. People might be alive down there.
Shiro: Not our problem.

Donna: Plus, didn’t you hear what he said? It’ll be a suicide mission.

Cecilia: Noah? What do you think?
Noah: I’m going down.

Shiro: You’re kidding me, right!?
Noah: What do you not understand? Those are my people down there!
Shiro: Yeah. Oscar seems to know you real well.

Noah: They share my mission.
Shiro: Which is what exactly? Save the world? Give me a break.

Noah: To do what we can to ensure humanity’s survival, you insufferable fuckwit!

Noah: You know we were looking for scientists, pathologist’s primarily. Well, down there is one of the brightest, most talented pathologist’s on the planet!
Shiro: Boohoo.
Noah: Her name is Meredith Beckett.
Shiro: I don’t give a shit.

Noah: There’s no underestimating what she can do… if she has the right resources… a good team around her… she could fix this plague. She really could. 

Oscar: I know he sounds like he’s full of shit… but he’s not. The Doc is brilliant. Honest to God. She’s the real deal.

Donna: And probably dead.

Noah: Maybe. But I know every single person down there would have done their utmost to keep her alive by any means necessary. And I’m not leaving until I know for sure. 

Jai: I’ll help you.
Shiro: Jai!? Have you gone fucking senile!?

Jai: Didn’t you hear what he said?
Shiro: I heard it fine. I just don’t buy it.
Jai: Nobody ever thought there would be a way to stop polio, or tuberculosis, or cholera, or malaria, or measles, and then it was done… one way or another. Hell, they were making strides in taking on AIDs just as the world went and ended. I’m a man of medicine. I’ve treated patients… given people vaccines and medication that would’ve cured thousands, if not millions, of people had they been developed earlier. If Noah’s serious about this…

Noah: I am.

Jai: Then I’m obligated to go down there. And aside from a few exceptions, I think the rest of you should, too. 

Peter: Oh, what the hell. I’ll go.

Rachel: Yeah. Same.

Henry: Me, too. 

Gwen: I’ll always stand by Noah.
Cecilia: Absolutely.

Oscar: I’ll help.
Jai: You sure?
Oscar: I don’t exactly have much to lose, do I?

Jai: Georgie, stay with Beatrice. 

Georgie: I’d like to help.
Donna: You’re staying put.
Noah: You speak for her?
Shiro: Damn right she does. You guys can get yourself killed, but you’re not dragging Georgie down with you!

Jai: Bernadette, you keep an eye on Alexis.

Alexis: I think I’d prefer it down there.

Shiro: Glad there’re other people with sense. I’m not going down there for some woman who’s probably dead. We’ve had enough close calls as it is lately. I don’t feel much like trying my luck.

Jai: Anyone who’s coming, Oscar’s going to show us the way. The rest of you take cover somewhere nearby. We’ll be back soon.

Shiro: Drew!?

Drew: I’m regretting this already.
Oscar: Once we’re in there’s no going back, friends.
Jai: We know.

Jai: Everyone get ready.

Anthony: Who the hell’s asking?
Peter: I’m Peter. And this is Jai… Gwen… Rachel…
Anthony: That means nothing to me. How did you get down here!?

Woman: Oscar, are you OK!?
Oscar: I’m compromised, boss. Happened as I got out.

Oscar: Don’t suppose you’ve come up with a cure while you’ve been locked in here?

Anthony: Oscar, explain?
Oscar: I brought you these folks. They’re friends of Noah Ashby’s.

Peter: He came down with us… we were separated… 

Peter: And who are you, if you don’t mind us asking?

Oscar: You haven’t figured it out?

Jai: Meredith Beckett.

Meredith: That’s right. Pleasure to make your acquaintance, friends of Noah. I’m sure we have a lot to discuss.

Peter: They’re not against the door anymore… that’s something, at least.
Anthony: They’ll be straight on us if we leave.
Peter: But it buys us a few seconds.

Meredith: Oscar, how we doing?
Oscar: Feel like I’m in a sauna.
Meredith: We have some water. Some aspirin, too. It should take the edge off your fever.
Oscar: No use wasting it on a dead man.

Meredith: Nonsense. Anthony?
Anthony: He’s right, Doc.
Meredith: I’m not asking.

Jai: How quickly were you found by Noah’s people when this all started?
Meredith: Within days.
Jai: It’s almost as if they were prepared.
Meredith: If you’re asking me to divulge what I know, now is not the time. Not to mention that information is classified.

Jai: Classified? By whom exactly? You work for the government?
Meredith: The government’s collapsed, Sir.
Jai: Then you can share whatever you please, as far as I’m concerned.

Meredith: If we make it out of here then maybe we can talk.
Jai: Maybe?
Meredith: But right now, we need to focus on getting out, or anything I say to you will be meaningless and will die with the both of us anyway.

Gwen: Does anyone have any ideas?

Oscar: I can help… I can tackle as many as I can. Get you an opening.
Meredith: Oscar, I’m not prepared to ask you to do that.

Noah: Yes, but Michael’s research could give Meredith a starting off-point. Maybe there’s something on there she doesn’t know about? Something he discovered that could help her? I don’t know. But that’s the point. I’d rather his work not be lost to the world.

Jai: It doesn’t matter either way. Alexis lied, Noah. She didn’t memorise Michael’s work. She said it to keep herself alive.

Shiro: Fucking knew it.

Jai: Because I promised her that if she played ball, I’d keep her alive.

Meredith: Anthony!?

Jai: We are not locking our group out.
